Lollipop, how the fuck did I come up with such a pussy name? Well, I have a shaved head and I am sweet and if you suck on me long enough you will get a tasty treat. So there, fuck you it’s lollipop!

So what’s up on the new cd, website and comics? Well, I am working on all three and it has been really time consuming with school, work and personal relationships, but now I have some time to work on them and so I hope I can finish before my next class starts.

I am also playing in the Tampa, FL Madden Challenge this year and that is taking up allot of time. It is worth allot of money and I really want to do well so I have to give time to that as well.

I bought a bunch of new equipment and software for the new cd so I hope that it all pays off. I should be releasing another new track  from the cd pretty soon, it is called illpressionist and it has my trademark fuzzy bass with a nice hook. I have some tweaking to do as I happy not completely satisfied with it just yet but close.

I hope to start playing out soon here in the Tampa area. I am not sure what kind of place I should pursue to play because I feel I have an eclectic style of music that really doesn’t falls into any one style or genre.

The new website has been designed several times as I have not been happy with the look and feel, until now. I have a oddballkink look and feel now that I am going to go with can’t wait.

Ok that’s it for now I have some nice editorials coming so I look forward to the next month or so. It should be a nice little productive time for me.   

 So I am finishing up another class right now and life just seems to get more and more challenging. I can not decide if I want to foreclose on my home or not. Common sense tells me to do it and move on into a more affordable living situation. This would really help with the money situation. Anyway it is shit that has been going on that has impeded my ability to write to my blog, finish my new website design and dramatically slowed the production of my new cd and merchandise. Life is a motherfucker but once this class finishes this weekend I will be back in the saddle to finish all of these projects.

I have also been training for the upcoming Tampa, fl Madden challenge on November 11, 2007. I must say that this year madden is a little difficult. I really love the game and have for 16-17 years now. I keep getting my ass whooped by my cousin but he has been playing me for the last five  years so he knows all of my gimmicks. This is my first competition and I am real excited about. I cant say I don’t feel any pressure though and I can envision myself winning the whole thing but not in an egotistical way. No, in a more humble manner. The reality is though that I should go and compete in a couple of cities but it I only want to battle in Tampa for now. I have also picked up Halo 3. It is my first halo game and I must say that even though I did not like halo 2 I love halo 3. I have yet to get into online combat but that is because I want to beat the single player campaign first and the online play is not going anywhere so I have plenty of time.

My bad ass ASUS g1 gaming laptop had to be returned due to a burnt out group of pixels in the monitor. Talk about pissed off. I loved that fucking laptop and became extremely disappointed when that happened. The cool guys over at best buy however allowed me to exchange it for a new Asus g1s model. The graphic card is not 512 Mb like the last one but it is a newer geforce 8600m gt 256 card and it puts out very nice graphics. It also has a splendid enhanced monitor running windows vista home premium, which by the way is the best windows OS ever. I use Linux and quit using Windoze but I am impressed with vista enough that I will have a hard time putting Linux on this box as it is for design, gaming and school. Linux will always run on my other laptop which is for general purposes like dicking around on the Internet and managing my router and server. I actually need to upgrade that one to PClinuxOs 07 because that Linux is bad ass and I recommend it to anyone looking to try Linux.

To go with my new laptop I just got my hands on the new adobe Design suite cs3 with Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, Indesign. I was using Photoshop Seven, Dreamweaver 08, Flash MX 04. I love the new versions. However they take for ever to install and are quite expensive.

I also got Sony Acid 6 pro and sound forge 9, ableton live 6, Some cakewalk app’s and sonar home studio 6. I also got a new guitar, m-audio axiom 25 midi controller and I think I am ready to finish all of my projects as soon as this class finishes this weekend.

Well it is good to be back and typing again.

p.s. – you will notice that I am signing with a different name that is because oddballkink is now the the name of my collective work and my name is -lollipop -  I am ball-headed and sweet. Not to mention when you suck on me long enough you will get a treat.

So I look ford to start posting again and adding some new, fresh original content like a comic strip. I am working on the next cd and have several new tracks that should be posted soon enough as well as a couple of unreleased tracks that I am excited about putting out there. Some good things are in store and I hope to get the ball rolling and keep the fire under my ass lit.

Just starting out …

The finished work …….

so this the finished work. the tat is on my right forearm and since then i have added two more tats. Which i will show one is on my left forearm and the other is on my right wrist. I have been wanting to have ink wok done for a long time but my ex-wife did not really care for tats so i didn’t do any but now that she is no longer a part of my life i have been doing things that i have wanted to do but didn’t because i was always thinking for her and i well that is no more and it feels good.

My Space has never appealed to me for some reason. I actually don?t see the function of a constrained web presence, but then again I use wordpress so that cant be the sole reason. I guess it is also the fact that I don?t really care for a bunch of anonymous web relationships with people i know nothing about. But i use other web based social tools like Xbox live, flickr so i guess that cant be it either. So as i sit here next to the girl i am dating typing this why i hate my space post-ironically as she updates her my space page- i cant help but think that the real reason why i don’t like my space is the fact that it is my space. I have tried other social networking sites like lost cherry and more recently the outer post, which is an artist based networking site. I don’t mind those so much but they are my space clones that serve a different group of people. Some would say that my space serves everyone but not me.

For one the design is just awful. Most people on my space have gaudy -if not just downright pathetic- webdesign skills and therefore have these fucking ugly eye sores for personal space. Then you are forced to hear some old journey song repeatedly – oh after taking a year to load- it just makes me want to shoot myself. When the crotchety old bitch at work says – hey do you have my space-how do you [insert some random html question]- i just want to ram a 450 page XHTML code book down her throat and say fuck my space as i piss on her head.

I hate my space because i do not want to see some hello post from xxX thick Nug xxX that contains some faggot fairy stroked in glitter or all those photos of your ugly fuckin kids. No body cares about your mongoloid looking drunken mistake.

So i was eyeing this HP that had some really nice guts but while on my way to buy i stopped off one last time at another store just to check out their selection. I am glad i did cuz within minutes i was holding a really nice new carbon fiber chassis Asus G1 series laptop.

This motherfucker is really kick ass. I have always wanted an alienware laptop but thought it a little on the expensive side of the economic spectrum but now i am glad i did not get one cuz for what i got in this little bad ass i would have paid allot more i think.

This model is like i said the Asus G1 gaming series with a carbon fiber chassis. 15.4 monitor, with a built-in 1.5 mega-pixel webcam. It has a DVD with lightscribe (which i thought only came in HP’s). It boasts a Intel core 2 duo T7200 @ 2.00GHZ. It has 2047 Mb ram and an Nvidia Geforce Go 7700 graphics card and all this is running Windoze Vista home premium.

Now, for those that have found this blog and read it know i am not found of Windoze operating systems, however i have to admit that vista is pretty fucking kick ass. After playing with it for a couple of days i have came to the conclusion that finally windozes has a nice product. So i know i am shocked by this opinion cuz I really love Linux hell, i am even writing this blog using windows live writer beta 2 and it is also really nice. This all sucks because i loved hating windozes and now i actually like their OS, shit….

Vista, for all intents and purposes and looking past the money machine M$ is trying to make by breaking the features down into various versions like home basic, home premium, ultimate and so on the features are there and so is the user friendliness one would expect from windows. Most of my old software runs just fine in Vista [at least the stuff I care about] and after ten hours of installing, updating, file transferring i finally have a usable system that is catered to my needs. Hell, for the first time ever i actually installed a video game to my hard drive. Normally i use my gaming console, which is an Xbox 360 and the abilities between vista and the 360 are really cool and another post because it is really cool shit.  The GUI is nice and actually I had been using a version of AERO in my PCLinuxOs laptop because the theme is really pretty. one of the things i miss in Windoze is the customization of the GUI. In linux under KDE one can change anything including the start button or launch button but in windoze the average user is stuck with the button they give and it is at least a huge improvement over the start button. The networking is one of the better points I have found so far. It found my network and shares really simply and made everything so easy.

What i don’t like is the constant approval system that one has to deal with, however if you’ve ever used linux you all about this. So i have to give it to them for at least giving the appearance of trying to get tough on security, which has been the Achilles heel of windozes OS’s. Other than that i am impressed with vista and we will see after the honeymoon ends just how good this OS is when i start pushing it and tweaking it.

As for the laptop the Asus G1 gaming series. Oh shit. You know when you buy yourself something and your just like yeah….. i got what i wanted and more. Well that is how I fell about this S.O.B. I decided to not go with the alienware because of cost. I mean really you are paying for the name and the cool chassis but everything else is pretty much standard hardware. It is not like they have special shit inside their laptops. One can purchase everything in their systems in a more common system for allot less. So when I saw this badass Asus i was like hook me up. The chassis is a simple carbon fiber [known for tuned / tricked out cars] design and it looks fucking nice. It has neon green lighting and a face with an eye that lights up neon green so the look is there and that is one of the things I was looking for. If i buy a mainstream laptop I usually cover up the logo with a cool sticker, this one will remain un-stickered.  For the first time ever i will be using my laptop for gaming as well as full blown multimedia design like audio production, webdesign, photoshopping and oh yeah….. the reason i got it school work. I recommend the Asus G1 series after test driving it for a couple of days. It is defiantly an affordable gaming machine when compared to Alienware, Voodoo Laptops, Dell XPS and Toshiba new gaming satellite. So I am happy and motivated to complete some projects i have been working on but it was on an inferior machine that was a real headache when it came to multimedia.

Kudos to the judge. What a waste of taxpayer money for making everyone go through this. I usually dont care about shit like this but this bitch was getting treated differently than anyone else and fuck that. So bitch cry, you get to return to your life in 40 days. But until then get a real taste of the simple life. It is nice to see that someone realized what damage this did to the already horrible reputation for our justice system. When Mike came out of college i was so excited for him to enter the league. I thought the guy would bring some new on-field excitement not sensational tabloid muck. Well after several years in the league and depending on the outcome from this latest dog-fighting case i think i would really would like him kicked out of the league. There have been other transgressions that i really don’t care about but the two that i do care about as a fan and as a human are the Ron Mexico story of herpes transmission and the dog fighting.

So whatever else Vick has done they do not compare to giving a girl herpes knowingly or fighting dog’s. Even though right now he has not been convicted or even arrested for that matter and he is only suspected of dog fighting the evidence is starting to mount. I will wait for judgment but if he is found to be involved in dog fighting i think he should be told to leave the league and he should serve time, real time not some bullshit Paris Hilton sentence. It is such a shame that a multi-million aire would not keep his nose clean. Even if he is cleared of any wrong doing (which i would not believe as the prosecutor that was pursuing the case could not have dragged any more ass during the investigation. He was dragging so much ass that the Feds have now moved in. That says something about who was conducting the investigation and even in a statement by Poindexter the attorney prosecuting the case said he could not understand why the feds have moved because his office was doing fine, bullshit. They had a warrant issued may 25th which they did not execute. Since then the home has been robbed. What the fuck? Even after the robbery no warrant. Can you say – hey Vick here is sometime to get all of the evidence out. The attorney even made a hint that the feds came in because “maybe it is racist” in nature. What? This is the prosecutor, no you are dragging your ass and fucking up this case and allowing the opportunity for evidence to be lost. Dipshit. I guess those free season tickets paid off for Vick [just a joke there is no connection to corruption-yet].

So back to Vick, i hope that if you were involved in this shit i hope they throw you into the fire. If you are / were fighting dogs your a pathetic human being and you deserve to be thrown in jail. As an owner of a pitbull and a well educated owner about the breed as well  i understand what it entails to prepare a dog to fight. It is simply cruel and abusive. If you did this i hope you fry, if you did not do this then i suggest you make better decisions and pay more attention as to what is going on around you their is no excuse for ignorance.

The NFL needs to come down on these players and restore some kind of order. So while I spent some time driving this weekend i chose to listen to talk radio. I listen to talk radio regularly not because i like listening to raving mad conservative pundits who really believe that they are smarter than everyone else and that their opinions are right simply because they can cut your phone line mic at anytime and call you names. Why is every talk radio or TV talk show host the same. It is almost as redundant as the shit music they are playing on the radio. Thanks to anti-war.com for posting the list.
